    Eric Roth

    Eric completed a PhD in Economic Geology at the University of Western Australia and was previously Head of Greenfields Exploration for AngloGold Ashanti. He is domiciled in Santiago and has significant experience in both mine geology and exploration in South America. He has an excellent knowledge of the various styles of precious metal deposits in South America, with a bias towards the economic evaluation of advanced projects.

    Trevor Mulroney

    Trevor Mulroney is a qualified Mining Engineer with over 25 years’ global experience in project management and mine development. In addition to his Mining Engineering degree, Trevor holds a 1st Class Mine Managers Certificate (South Africa), a Mine Overseers Certificate (South Africa), and a Shift Boss Certificate (Anglo American Corporation). Most recently, Trevor has held the positions of Project Director for Kula Gold at the Woodlark Project in PNG, Project Manager for Santa Barbara Mines Ltd in Western Australia, and General Manager Development for Mirabella’s Santa Rita nickel mine in Brazil. Trevor has a proven track record in managing mining operations and in bringing together experienced technical teams as projects make the transition from advanced exploration to production

  • Darcy Daubaras, CFO

    Darcy Daubaras

    Darcy Daubaras is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of combined experience in both industry and public practice. Darcy graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria and spent 8 years working for a Big 4 international accounting firm in Vancouver. Before joining the junior mining industry in 2008 his experience was in the marine transportation and forestry industries. He has widespread knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley, internal controls, Canadian and US regulatory compliance matters, and management reporting. Darcy is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Canada, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Since 2004 Darcy has been an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Vancouver, and since September 2008 has served on its board and as its Treasurer.

  • Yale Simpson, Co-Chairman

    Yale Simpson

    Yale Simpson is the Co-Chairman of Extorre and a professional geologist. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geological Engineering) from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Yale has more than 30 years experience as a senior geologist, exploration manager and CEO of companies involved in precious metals projects in Australia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Argentina. Those companies included Pennzoil Company, Chevron Exploration, Australmin Holdings, Black Swan Gold Mines Ltd. and Argosy Minerals Inc. Importantly, he and his exploration teams are credited with the exploration and development of several gold mines. His particular expertise is in strategic resource planning and corporate communications. Yale is currently chairman of Exeter Resource Corp. and a director of Diamonds North Resources Ltd., Dynasty Metals and Mining Inc. and Rugby Mining Limited.

  • Bryce Roxburgh, Co-Chairman

    Bryce Roxburgh

    Bryce Roxburgh graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology and geophysics from Sydney University in 1971. He has 40 years experience in the exploration and mining industry. Between 1971 and 1989, he worked for Amoco Minerals Australia Company and Cyprus Mines Corporation, where as Regional Manager for Eastern Australia & South East Asia he was responsible for the exploration teams which discovered the Selwyn, Red Dome and Junction Reef ore-bodies. Between 1989 and 1998, he was Exploration Manager for Arimco N.L. and Climax Mining Limited in East Australia, South East Asia and South America where he was responsible for the teams which discovered the Dinkidi ore-body in the Philippines, and the Don Sixto gold deposit in Argentina. In 2003 he and colleague Yale Simpson secured control of a dormant TSX Venture company and established Exeter Resource Corporation focussing on gold and copper projects in South America. As Exeter’s very large Caspiche gold-copper porphyry in Chile had a very different development profile from the high grade gold-silver Cerro Moro Project in Argentina, Cerro Moro was successfully spun out to Extorre Gold Mines Ltd in March 2010, with shareholders receiving one new share in Extorre for each share held in Exeter. He remains CEO of Exeter and is Executive co-Chairman of Extorre, and Chairman of Rugby Mining Limited.

  • Alberto Carlocchia - Country Manager

    Alberto Carlocchia

    Alberto Carlocchia is a graduate in Law from the Universidad Catolica in Buenos Aires. For the last 13 years Alberto has held senior management positions in mining companies operating in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. Most recently, Alberto held the positions of Country Manager and Institutional Relations / Legal Manager for Andean Resources Ltd (now Goldcorp Inc). His primary responsibilities were to provide all aspects of managerial, legal, and administrative support for the advanced-stage Cerro Negro project. Between 1998 and 2008, Alberto held a number of senior positions with both AngloGold AshantiArgentina and Cerro Vanguardia SA, including President for both entities and Institutional Relations and Legal Affairs Manager for Cerro Vanguardia SA. Importantly, Alberto is a well-known and highly respected professional in Argentine mining circles

  • Robert G Reynolds, Director

    Robert G Reynolds

    A Chartered Accountant has been involved in exploration and resource development companies for 28 years. He has held various positions, including that of Executive Director of Delta Gold Ltd. from 1987 to 1996, responsible for corporate planning, finance and administration. He also participated in the development of the Granny Smith and Kanowna Belle mines in Western Australia, and the Hartley Platinum Mine in Zimbabwe. Currently Robert is the Chairman of successful Australian gold explorer, Avoca Resources Ltd.

  • Ignacio Celorrio, Director

    Ignacio Celorrio

    Mr. Celorrio received his law degree from the Catholic University of Buenos Aires in 1996 and a Post-Graduate Specialization in Oil & Gas from the University of Buenos Aires in 2000. Mr. Celorrio is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar and has been a partner with Quevedo Abogados, a Buenos Aires law firm, since November 2007 where he practices in the areas of foreign investment, corporate and administrative law, principally in the natural resource and energy area. Mr. Celorrio has presided over several TSX-listed companies' Argentinean subsidiaries, performing mining exploration in Argentina and is currently the president of the Argentina Uranium Exploration Companies Chamber and a member of the Argentina Mining Chamber Comptroller Board.

    James Strauss

    Mr. James Strauss is a director of Extorre Gold Mines. He has worked for 25 years as a stockbroker in the city of London, specializing in the corporate resource arena. Having left BMO Capital Markets as Managing Director of the UK branch in 2009, Mr. Strauss is currently a Director of a mining finance boutique, a Non-Executive Director of Wildhourse Energy Limited, a Non-Executive Director of Altius Minerals and a Director of Strauss Partners. Mr. Strauss has raised in excess of $1billion in recent years for projects spanning the globe in both the energy and mineral world from institutions in North America, Australia and Europe. Mr. Strauss has been a committee member of the Association of Mining Analysts for the last four years (2006 - present).

    George Lawton

    George Lawton is a senior financial executive with extensive experience at the CFO and VP Finance level providing strategic, financial and operating leadership to public companies in the mining, aerospace, entertainment, and business services industries. Currently Mr. Lawton is a Principal with GWL Consulting which provides strategic, financial and accounting consulting services. Prior to his role with GWL, Mr. Lawton was the Senior Vice President of Operational Finance for Uranium One Inc. He has also held positions as Vice President, Finance for Vector Aerospace Corporation, CFO for Mainframe Entertainment and Controller for Versacold. Mr. Lawton is a Certified Accountant and holds a B.Com from the University of KwaZulu-Natal

    Cecil Bond

    Cecil is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in public and private companies. Over the last 15 years he has held various positions in a number of public exploration companies with activities in Canada, South America, Africa, Europe and Australia. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of Exeter and also serves as a director or holds senior positions in a number of other public and private companies. He has successfully managed capital raisings and the recent spin out of Exeter’s high grade gold/ silver Cerro Moro project in Argentina to Extorre Gold Mines Limited.

  • Louis G. Montpellier, Senior Vice President

    Louis G Montpellier

    Louis Montpellier has been practising law in Vancouver, British Columbia since 1981 and since 1983 has worked exclusively in the capital markets as counsel to emerging issuers and listed public companies engaged in mineral exploration and mining. During that period, Mr. Montpellier has assisted a wide range of businesses in the entire spectrum of corporate finance activities, from accessing seed capital for private companies through to IPO's and subsequent public and private financings. Mr. Montpellier has worked extensively in the field of mergers and acquisitions, hostile and friendly take-over bids, proxy contests, corporate reorganizations and arrangements. Mr. Montpellier also has experience in debt and project financing, acting both for lenders and borrowers, with a particular emphasis on the financing of mineral projects.

  • Marina Trasolini, Vice President, Corporate Development

    Marina Trasolini

    Marina holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Bachelor of Education degree in Secondary Science from the University of British Columbia. Before joining Extorre, Marina worked as the Senior Research Analyst for renowned newsletter writer Lawrence Roulston, editor of the Resource Opportunities Investment Newsletter. In that role she became well versed in corporate finance, equity financings, company valuations and M&A dealings in the mining sector. Prior to this, Marina worked for Chesapeake Gold Corp as an exploration geologist.

  • Fernando Chacon, Cerro Moro Project Manager

    Fernando Chacon

    Fernando Chacon, a licensed geologist and graduate of San Juan University, Argentina, worked with Exeter since its establishment in South America in 2003 on the Don Sixto and Cerro Moro gold-silver projects. Before obtaining his degree he worked as a mining technician at the Veladero project in 1996. Since graduating he has worked for Tenke at the Batidero Project and Noranda at the El Pachon Project. His experience with Exeter has concentrated on evaluating projects at an advanced stage of exploration, and includes drill program planning and supervision, geological model construction for resource estimation, and the management of a group of over 60 professionals, technicians, and support staff at the Cerro Moro Project.

  • Matthew Williams, Exploration Manager

    Matthew Williams

    Matthew Williams graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Geology from the Queensland Institute of Technology in 1987, and has more than 12 years experience in the exploration and mining industries with Mount Isa Mines. Areas of expertise include the geological appraisal of advanced projects, particularly at the pre-feasibility and feasibility levels, of base metal and gold mining projects in Australia and the Dominican Republic. Major projects include Tom's Gully Gold Mine, N.T., McArthur River Lead-Zinc-Silver Mine, N.T., Mount Isa Copper Mine, Pueblo Viejo Gold Mine in the Dominican Republic, and the proposed Mount Isa Open Cut.

    His experience has also included grass roots (or greenfield) exploration and project appraisals on gold and base metal projects in W.A., N.T. - Australia, Mexico, Nevada, USA, Panama and the Dominican Republic.Matthew brings a wealth of computing experience with him to Exeter, which includes extensive resource estimation knowledge.

  • Gonzalo Damond, Commercial Manager

    Gonzalo Damond

    Gonzalo Damond is an Industrial/ Electronic/ Civil Engineer and graduated with specializations in commercial and logistic areas from Mariscal Sucre University and has 12 years experience in operational and management positions within significant multinational companies. He has been responsible for the design, organization and commissioning of large distribution centers. He has substantial experience in purchase management - especially large volume transactions and has negotiated supply contracts with major wholesale companies. Within the operations field he has managed railway logistics between Argentina and Brazil as well as intermodal operations for Chilean ports. In carrying out these functions Gonzalo gained substantial experience in establishing constructive relationships with communities, clients, trade unions and Government authorities.

  • Patricia Inzirillo - Administration and Legal

    Patricia Inzirillo

    Patricia Inzirillo graduated with a Bachelor of Social and Juridical Sciences, degree in Law (Lawyer) from University of Mendoza in 1990. She has specialized in Mining Law since 1993. As a founding partner of “Inzirillo and Associates” law firm, her professional expertise mainly involves legal, commercial and corporate advice assisting several mining companies subsidiaries settled in different provinces of the Argentine Republic.

    In previous years has served as a legal advisor in the Ministry of Public Works of the Province of Mendoza and the Government of Mendoza. Academically, has worked as a professor at National University of Cuyo and at the University of Mendoza.

  • Rob Grey, VP Investor Relations

    Rob Grey

    Rob Grey is Vice President - Corporate Communications for Extorre. He is a Business College graduate who began his career with Telus Mobility in Corporate Sales. In a four year period he achieved “top of sales” in a very competitive field. Over a ten year period Rob worked as an equity sales assistant before advancing into investor communications for Exeter. In 2007 he was appointed Vice President – Communications for Exeter, a role in which he works directly with senior management in developing and managing investor outreach programs at institutional and retail levels.
